Lower your alkalinity
What you’ll need:
• Test strips
• Alkalinity Down
• Measuring Cup in Ounces
1. To test your water submerge the test strip 6” below the water line.
2. The Alkalinity desired range is 80 to 120 ppm.
3. Turn on air blower or filter system
4. To lower your Alkalinity, use 1 ounce per 400 gallons. Do not add more than one ounce at a time.
5. Allow water to circulate for 30 minutes with your jets on.
6. Retest your water and repeat if needed.
