Pro Tip: Before you replace your flow switch, make sure you have proper water flow. Make sure your pleated filter is clean and less than one year old. For those using the ProClarity or MicroClean filter, make sure your filter is less than four months old, especially if you have hard water.
If that checks out, please verify your circulation pump is in fact moving water properly. If that checks out, you can test your old flow switch for continuity. When the pump is operating, you should have zero resistance. When the pump is not operating, depending on your meter, your meter should read open line. If you are receiving anything outside of those perameters, then its time to replace that switch. If your switch is reading fine, then you likely have a circuit board issue.
