Your MicroClean Ultra II Inner Core Filter is a major component on select Sundance water filtration systems. An average Reemay, or pleated filter, is a surface loading material. This means it traps undesirable materials from your water on the outside. While these do a good job of keeping your water clean, they also may miss some of the dead skin,  oils, and dead bacteria that may otherwise go straight through the pleated material. MicroClean Ultra II Inner Core on the other hand absorbs these undesirable particles, up to ten times finer than what normal filters catch,  so that you don't have ultra fine particles in your water. This means cleaner, polished water. This also means you are bathing in the cleanest water possible.

MicroClean Ultra II Inner Core filter MUST be replaced every 3-4 months. These filters cannot be sprayed out and reused as they absorb particles like a sponge. 

Attempting at cleaning these filters will result in your MicroClean Ultra II Inner Core deteriorating into your water. Attempting to keep these filters longer than intended could also cause damage to your circulation system.
