Easy to replace, took about 5 minutes per speaker. No special tools/skill required, just a screwdriver, but original speaker grills were brittle and the first tab broke when I removed them (I was gentle) new speakers don't come with grills so maybe just order them while you are here! The sound is good for the price and they fixed the design so they don't hold water inside the hosing.
